After a twenty five year career in television, I was afforded the opportunity to pursue my passion, and become a full time artist. Realizing that I still had much to learn, I began to take classes in drawing and painting, both at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA and through other workshops. I continue expanding my art education to this day. I enjoy painting outdoors, plein air style, as well as in the studio where I set up my own still lifes. I experiment with different techniques and enjoy painting on copper. I prefer to paint from life but have learned some of the challenges painting from photographs. I'm a member of the California Art Club and Inland Painters Group have been fortunate to have shown my work in restaurants and galleries since 2007.
